Summer tryouts will take place on July 15 and July 16 for the following grade levels:
Grade 8: 5:00-7:00pm, July 16
Grade 9: 7:30-9:30pm, July 16
Grade 10: 5:00-7:00pm, July 15
Grade 11/12: 7:30-9:00pm, July 15
All tryouts will be held at Leipsic High School

If you want to try out for a grade level higher, simply attend that tryout. Whatever tryout you attend, that is what grade level team we will place you on if you make a team. We will probably have American and Regional teams at each grade level.
There are no summer tryouts for grades 7 and lower. Those will be held in the fall (October)
Players with memberships for 2023-2024 may participate in July tryouts without any additional membership regardless of which club they played for in the 2023-2024 season.. Any new player must purchase the Summer-Tryout membership. For the July and Fall tryouts, they offer a $10 Tryout Membership (Starting June 4th.) which allows the participant to attend an unlimited number of tryout dates between July and December.
This $10 Tryout Membership covers the player with secondary medical insurance in case of an injury and helps to cover the facility/host club with liability insurance. This is in addition to any tryout fee the club themselves may charge. That fee goes towards their costs of running the tryout, like renting the facility, etc. Later when you sign a contract with a club, you will "Upgrade" your Tryout Membership to a full membership and the $10 is applied towards that full membership.
You will need to bring your OVR membership card, OVR medical form, and $20 tryout fee with you the day of tryouts. We will not be having any make-up tryout dates or times.
